Theater applied to intervention with young people in marginal situations. Bibliographic review of academic articles: Between disciplinary dispersion and casuistic richness

Abstract

The following article offers a systematic bibliographical review of the educational use of theatre with marginalized youth. We try to identify concepts, questions, references and key ideas which might help to build a disciplinary view of theatre as a pedagogical tool. The importance of this exercise of reviewing academic information in this sample of articles is based on the hypothesis that pedagogical action and reflection on theatre as an educational tool is scattered into different disciplinary traditions and it seems convenient to promote the organization of the main discussions with the aim of enhacing a dialogue amongst them.
