Social work and its relationship with the State in a constituent process in Chile

Abstract
This document seeks to establish how the discussion of a new Constitution where one of the alternatives seeks to convene a constituent process for the first time in Chile, translates into a challenge for social work because the origin of proposing a new magna Carta process or State navigation, which was born from the social statute in October 2019. Social work since its Re conceptualization has not been present in a historical moment where Chilean society defines the process of a new order from the doctrine. The point is to look for answers through this article if Social Work responds to this challenge from its intervention methods, its shortcomings and virtues in seeking social transformation, seeking a structural coupling as an opportunity in a constituent process that reflects the areas of exercise of the profession.
