Abstract

Along with the development of society, there have been emerging new social problems of varying complexity that require increasingly complete descriptions to act on them. The complexity of society demands new readings of social phenomena from contemporary perspectives relevant solutions enabling emerging situations. From here, this article presents a theoretical reflection on social intervention, considering some elements of the general systems theory. In this scenario, the intention of this paper is to contribute to the complementarity between this theoretical framework and social intervention in the context of social complexity that characterizes contemporary societies.
