Resistance and alternatives to mining extractivism in the Migüir buffer zone of Cajas National Park, province of Azuay-Ecuador.

Abstract
The objective of this study is to make visible the resistance struggles of the Migüir community the National Park Cajas, especially women and youth, against mining extractivism, as well as the search for alternatives to the crisis. The methodology used is based on a qualitative study based on Participatory Action Research, developed by the Colombian sociologist and researcher Orlando Fals Borda as a way of strengthening community organization, social struggles and the defense of territories, identifying the characteristics and the potential of tourism ventures in the buffer zone, for which a tourism inventory form proposed by the Ministry of Tourism was applied, with which important information was obtained through the diagnosis of tourist places and processes of sustainable ecotourism ventures such as proposal against mining extractivism.
