Main Article Content
Abstract
Abstract: The present study examines the mental health situation and its relationship with sociodemographic variables in volunteers of territorial initiatives developed during the Covid-19 pandemic. The methodology used is of a quantitative nature, with a non-experimental, cross- sectional, and correlational descriptive design, utilizing a sample of 43 volunteers from territorial initiatives. Generally, positive indicators of well-being and mental health are observed, and a statistically significant relationship is identified between education level and depressive symptomatology, as well as between the main occupation and well-being and depressive symptomatology. Additionally, it was found that satisfaction with the main occupation is related to all indicators of well-being and mental health symptomatology, and satisfaction with income isassociated with well-being and stress. In conclusion, the importance of supporting those who perform volunteer work in the service of the community is highlighted.
