Abstract

El presente artículo tiene por objetivo presentar las acciones desarrolladas por el Equipo de Psicotrauma del Servicio de Salud – Concepción Chile, en ocasión del terremoto del 27 de febrero de 2010 en Chile. Las intervenciones han sido sistematizadas en un modelo de intervención con énfasis en gestión comunitaria, lo cual se trabajó durante y posterior a la intervención en una ardua labor de rescate de información, sistematización, reflexión crítica de las actividades, toma de decisiones y formulación de estrategias, y revisión bibliográfica; lo que en conjunto permitió elaborar el modelo que se presentará a continuación. De la experiencia desarrollada, uno de los grandes aprendizajes, y que constituye el eje articulador de la estrategia de intervención, es la importancia del trabajo y el fortalecimiento de las redes comunitarias y por tanto la gestión comunitaria en situación de desastre y catástrofe, considerando con ello el rol clave de los distintos actores a nivel local, ya que sin ellos no hubiera sido posible alcanzar los resultados propuestos. The present article must by objective present display the actions developed by the Equipment of psycho-trauma of the Service of Health in Concepcion, Chile, with occasion of the earthquake of February, 27th 2010 in Chile. The interventions have been systematized in a model of intervention with emphasis in communitarian management. It was done during and following the disaster and includedan arduous rescue work of information, systematization, critical reflection of the activities, a description of the decisions and strategies, and a literature review, which allowed creating the model that will appear next. From the developed experience, one of the great learnings that constitutes the main axis of the intervention strategy, was the importance of community work and the fortification of the communitarian networks. Therefore, the communitarian management in situation of disaster and catastrophe became critical as different actors from local level played a significant, key role in terms of achieving the proposed results. Keywords: Intervention strategies emergencies, catastrophe, mental health
