Relationship between socioemotional development and parental exercise in children aged 33 - 41 months belonging to a preschool educational institution in the Biobío region

Abstract
The present research was carried out with the objective of relating the socioemotional development (hereinafter SED) of boys and girls aged 33-41 months, belonging to an educational institution in the Bío Bío region, with respect to the parental exercise of fathers, mothers and/or caregivers who are in charge of them. The research methodology is quantitative with a non- experimental, non-parametric and transversal design where 83 sample subjects participated voluntarily. The main results show that the DSE and parental exercise have a statistically significant relationship, as demonstrated by Spearman's Rho with a test value of -0,278* and a significance of 0,01
